HYROX Sharjah 2025, held on April 12 at Expo Centre Sharjah, brought together over 3,000 athletes from around the world for a thrilling test of fitness and endurance. Participants tackled an intense course combining 8 kilometers of running with 8 functional workout stations—including sled pushes, burpees, and rowing—designed to challenge both strength and stamina. The event featured multiple divisions, including Pro, Doubles, and Relay categories, offering opportunities for athletes of all levels to compete and push their limits. With a high-energy atmosphere and a strong sense of camaraderie, HYROX Sharjah 2025 was a standout event in the global fitness racing calendar.
Oceanman Sharjah 2025 marked a significant milestone as the emirate hosted its inaugural edition of this renowned international open-water swimming competition. Organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), the event took place over two days, April 19–20, at the scenic Al Khan Beach, drawing over 500 swimmers from 62 nations and attracting more than 2,500 spectators.
The championship featured five race categories tailored to various age groups and skill levels: a 10 km Oceanman endurance challenge, a 5 km Half Oceanman race, a 2 km sprint for amateurs, a 500-meter Ocean Kids race for children aged 7 to 14, and a 3×500-meter team relay. The event fostered a festive atmosphere with family-friendly activities along the shore, emphasizing community engagement and promoting healthy lifestyles.
The Super Cup 2025 Karate Championship, held on April 20, 2025, at the Sharjah Individual Sports Club, showcased the pinnacle of martial arts excellence in the region. Organized by the UAE Karate Federation, the event attracted top karatekas from across the nation, competing in both kata and kumite disciplines. The championship was a vibrant display of skill, discipline, and sportsmanship, with athletes demonstrating remarkable prowess and determination. Notably, the Karate Kid Martial Arts Academy clinched the overall championship title, reflecting their dedication and rigorous training.
